ETHAN COLLIER
Founder; President & CEO
With over a decade of experience in the building industry, Ethan serves as the President and CEO of Collier Construction. He started the company in 2002, and under Ethan’s leadership, Collier Construction has grown significantly each year since its inception. Ethan continues to take a lead role in all phases of the business.
Ethan is a LEED Accredited Professional builder, and he is currently on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of South East Tennessee; a member of the local and national USGBC (US Green Building Council); and a member of the Board of Directors at Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanooga.
Additionally, Ethan has taken a lead role in promoting sustainability throughout the Chattanooga area. With two film projects, numerous workshops and seminars as well as many partnerships with local organizations, Ethan continues to engage issues of economic development and environmental stewardship in the community.
Ethan grew up in Chattanooga. He now lives in North Chattanooga with his wife, Mary and his two children, Caleb and Julia. Ethan enjoys cooking with his wife, Saturdays with the kids, running and mountain biking.
HAMILTON BROCK
COO
Hamilton joined Collier Construction in the spring of 2010. He has seventeen years of management experience in a wide range of occupations, including construction, retail, manufacturing and education. Because of Collier’s consistent growth and expansion, Hamilton has been brought on to manage the day to day operations of the company.
Hamilton and his wife Kristen live on Lookout Mountain with their four children. They are all avid soccer fans, and Hamilton is one of the founding members of Chattanooga FC, a semi-pro team in Chattanooga.
BRYAN KING
Accounts Manager
Bryan is the senior estimator and helps oversee the financial development of the company. Bryan joined Collier Construction in 2002, and with 8 years of experience as a skilled carpenter, Bryan has also helped improve Collier Construction’s financial model.
Bryan and his wife Sherene live on Signal Mountain. They are members of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Bryan and Sherene both enjoy billiards, landscaping and UT football.
CATHY COLLIER
Office Manager
Cathy, Ethan's older sister, was hired in November 2007 to oversee accounts payable and reception. She previously worked for 6 years in oncology billing and insurance at University Oncology & Hematology Associates.
Cathy lives in downtown Chattanooga and also pursues a career in art. She helps organize and exhibits in the Clothesline Art Show as well as at CreateHere and numerous other galleries. Cathy enjoys biking and playing tennis in her free time.
MATTHEW LAYNE
Project Manager; Superintendent
Matthew oversees construction projects in the field. He is a skilled carpenter with 11 years of experience in the building industry. Since joining Collier in 2006, Matthew's expertise has been instrumental in Collier's efforts to build sustainable, energy efficient homes.
Matthew lives in Skymont, Tennessee and attends Cumberland Heights Seventh Day Adventist Church. He and his wife, Gabriela, enjoy camping and spending time on the lake with their three young children – Benjamin, Sophia, and Olivia.
BRYAN YOUNGBLOOD
Project Manager; Superintendent
Bryan oversees multiple projects both commercial and residential. He has a degree in Construction Management from Mississippi State University. Bryan is a LEED Accredited Professional and has 11 years of experience in both commercial and residential project management as well as estimating.
He and his wife, Laura enjoy backpacking, mountain biking, and cooking together. They live on Lookout Mountain.
DUSTIN DOUGLASS
Superintendent
Dustin is a project superintendent for primarily residential projects. Dustin has a degree in Business Management from the University of South Florida. He has worked at Collier Construction for three years, and he has overseen projects ranging from additions and renovations to commercial build-outs and new home construction.
Dustin enjoys spending time with his wife Rachel and his son Miles. A Native of Florida, Dustin also enjoys fishing the flats in the Gulf of Mexico as well as playing poker. Dustin and his family currently reside in Flintstone GA.
AARON COLLIER
Director of Marketing & Communications
Aaron oversees marketing at Collier Construction. He has a degree in English from Covenant College, and he was an English teacher before joining Collier Construction in 2008.
Aaron and his wife Laurie live in Red Bank with their three children - Liam, Sam and May. Aaron and Laurie enjoy traveling, taking their kids to the park and spending time with family.
