Madison Street Project

This is a great new project for us.  We are building three new LEED certified homes on Madison Street as part of the revitalization of the Jefferson Heights area.

The homes will be 1540 and 1600 square feet, three bedroom, two and a half bath.  The beauty of the home is in its simplicity, and carefully thought out use of space.  It has all the functioning room of a house typically much larger.  

The out of the box thinking carried over to the exterior of the home as well.  We will integrate the use of Marvin high efficeincy windows, Hardie panel siding, Zappone Aluminum siding, and Forestry Service Certified (green, LEED) Siberian Larch porches.   The roof will be standing seam metal with TechShield decking to greatly reduce solar heat gain into the home.  

Interior details include polished concrete and cork flooring, 2 x 6 advanced framing with ultra-therm insulation, and insulated crawl spaces.  The shared driveway will consist of two concrete strips to drive on, the rest being TurfStone Pavers to allow the ground to absorb rain water rather than sending runoff to the sewer system.

Two of the three homes will be available for sale.
