The Monroe Residence, designed by Trey Wheeler and Wayne Williams of TWH Architects, Inc., is going to be a fun home to watch as it is built. It is a fully customized home designed with the highest in energy efficiency with a large emphasis on keeping it very low maintenance. This 5140 sq.ft. heated and cooled home will feature advanced framing techniques, insulated crawl spaces, pre-tension hollow core concrete floor slabs, TechShield roof decking, high end insulated low-E windows, manual J calculated HVAC for proper and efficient cooling and heating, Icynene insulation, Hardi siding and stone, and a standing seam metal roof.

Because of its beautiful location on Signal Mountain, we will be limiting the number of trees cut down to only what is necessary for the build. A minimal distraction to the surrounding environment will be very important to us and the homeowners.
