Somerville Cottages was born from a vision to bring new life to South Chattanooga as the energy of St. Elmo expanded north along Broad Street toward the future Lookouts stadium. After identifying the corridor’s potential, Adam Kinsey introduced the opportunity to Ethan Collier, who saw the chance to create a neighborhood that felt vibrant, attainable, and deeply human.

Inspired by the colorful cottage communities of New Orleans, the homes were designed to brighten the streetscape with soft pinks, warm yellows, and coastal blues, creating a place that feels welcoming, distinctive, and full of character. Somerville Cottages reflects Collier’s commitment to building communities that don’t just add housing, but contribute to the identity and momentum of the city around them.
